- My name is Skye.... I am a mother to 10 children...yes I said 10! Yes, they are all mine and yes, I gave birth to them all. Yes, I do know what "causes" that many children, and yes, we did have TV! :) I choose to have all these children and not a one was an "oops", they were all wanted and planned for. I am mother to eight girls and two boys ranging from age 39 to 18 years old. I am also mom to an Australian Shepherd,Border Collie, and two horses.I have AQHA Quarter horse named Shiloh and a Paint named Stetson, who does NOT know his name because I say, "C’mon baby" every time I feed so now he comes to "baby". However, that cannot be confused with my Blue Crown Parrot that is also named "Baby". As an empty nester, I struggle with finding something that will occupy my time and yet be productive. My passion for photography has always been there but it is just now in the past six months that I have had the freedom to sit down work on me, and what I enjoy. My passion for the animals is deep and is sometimes in opposition to the dog show world. Guess you could say I can see both sides of the dog business, and can sometimes sympathize with animal activists.
